Breathtaking

I know I really need to be blogging about all the fabulousshoots I have been doing but thats just it editing pics with a 1 year old in the house is an adventure in and of itself so unfortunately the blogging has taking a back seat! But when I did this one I just knew I had to share. Sometime I even surprise myself. I consider evey shoot a learning experience I always tru to step outside my comfort zone at some point in each shoot and this is the result of playing with lighting. I wasnt even sure I would I get anything "edit" worthy but boy was I wrong!!!! I love this pic-so much that I am going to enter it in the I heart faces "baby" category this week!

Playing catch up!

Well it feels so good to say that I am back on track and all orders are finished and up to date! I have been blessed to be a very busy bee lately and with my sons first birthday I got a little behind, I was actually taking the whole 2 weeks to get pics edited lo but hopefully with these new actions I am using to edit I will be keeping up :) Above is a snippet from my shoot yesterday out in Eads. the family was great and the kids were too cute. there were tons more pics than this but since my collage only allows 5 here you go! I hope to be posting more pics from past shoots soon! I have been overjoyed by everyones word of encouragement on facebook, I love taking pictures and I am so glad that god has given me this trade to share with others! and now that I am finsihed up and posted I think I will be hitting the hay I got an early am newborn shoot tomm and I gotta ring my a game!

So Sorry

ok so if you hadnt noticed I have not made any new posts in a while. This is partially due to blogger (my home computer does not like uploading pics to the site without taking FOREVER) and secondly bc I have been so blessed to be so busy with shoots that I have A LOT of catching up to do with editing :) So I hope to bring tons of pics soon but here are a few to keep you occupied

Package Details

Sitting Fee 75.00

This can be at your home or on location of your choice, Up to 5 people (10.00 extra per additional person over 5) and up to 3 outfit changes. An additional location can be added for a fee of 25.00 (this may also mean beginning the shoot earlier to accomodate for traveling and lighting). Traveling fee for sessions outside of memphis are 25.00 as well

CD of images 50.00

This includes a cd of the edited images from your shoot.

Rather than printing images myself I like to give the client the creative freedom to do this on their own. I give you a cd of your images and this allows you to print your photos in a more affordable fashion and not be tied down to meeting certain "package" requirements.

*additional CD copies are available for 10.00 per copy (great for sharing with Family)

*If you are someone who hates the thought of printing your images yourself I can print a set of proofs for you to keep (a 4x6 pic of all the edited images) for 20.00. And we can discuss further printing options.

*Images are usually ready within 2-4 weeks (depending on my scheduling at the particular time) I plan to post a *teaser* on the blog/facebook and then contact you to get you your CD.

About me

My name is Cassie and I have built on my love of photography over the past years. It started with my wedding photos spiking a fire in my heart and never stopped. Prior to having my son I bought a DSLR camera and started taking pics of anything and everything. My major subjects were my sister in laws twin girls. Now that Will has come into the picture my photography has come full circle I started with his newborn pics which led to taking newborn pics for friends and family and now I post picture on facebook and within minutes I have people interested in shoots (and for this I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL!) I have also recently dipped into the editind world of Photoshop (PSE) and I will share those adventures as well. I hope through this blog I can share my work with others and fill peoples need as a Family Photographer! I have been asked to do weddings and to that I must again say...THANKS but i also must decline, maybe one day down the road I will venture into that world but for right now simple outdooor photography is my love with indoor photgraphy (with lots of natural light) as my second.
